Most of my paintings start with a strong abstract design often produced with sponges over sized brushes and pretty much anything else to hand. Pouring, dripping, spatter also play their part. Anything that makes the paint flow. Then the ideas start to take shape. My paintings are gradually rendered to looking like something real. But why not just let the abstracts be the finished thing. I started to experiment. It took my back to my college days. It was quite liberating and I thought if done intelligently, valid. As it turned out I was quite pleased with the results and so too were some new clients. Take a look. If you get tired of one aspect just turn them upside down or to the side for a new concept. Or how about a pair or even a trio. If you want something different, bold or subtle, let me know your colour scheme and the size required and I will produce something special.
